Architecture is the making of rooms, and this relatively small house for a large site on a ridge in Newcastle, places the rooms towards its significant moments. Views of the coast to the south, the mountains to the west, and the city to the north, are connected by courtyards and the ground that is allowed to flow from the front to the back.
