Cottonwoods

A new home on a site with views in all directions. The moving wetlands to the north wraps the house while Mount Gilmore provides distant views to the south. The house became a series of rooms defining their own enclosures and courtyards. Breezeways running north-south and east-west pulls air in across concrete floors and limestone walls. The impression of the house in the landscape is as a series of collected sheds, so common in this part of the valley in years past.
