Central Village
How small a house?
How much are you prepared to pay for one?
These are the critical questions as we make our way through the housing affordability crisis we have in this country. These houses are purchased without the land, and for that reason can occupy much smaller parcels of land than would ordinarily be allowed. Reminiscent of the more tightly packed thinner streets of the older city before cars, they show us that this can be a highly successful model for urban living.
